Eventually Allen's former friends started to become Nazi Police Officers, and no longer even pretended to know his name. All of the people who were once his families friends now looked down and talked down on them. It suddenly was no longer a home, but a prison without escape for Allen and the remainder of his family. Things here progressively got worse and worse until Allen escaped.
